About The Blank Quill

The Blank Quill is a digital literary magazine highlighting minority voices and political commentary pieces that authors have been told are unworthy of publication in other places.

The magazine's name comes from the idea that authors, poets, and other literary creatives are rejected and discriminated against by publishers and professionals in the field for no reason other than their identity.

While others may be uninterested or have distaste for the important themes we highlight, while they may wish our quills were blank, we will write anyway.
